Book Review: Divergent by Veronica Roth

Divergent by Veronica Roth
5 stars
Tris lives in a world full of choices, at 16 she must chose which of the 5 factions (Abnegation, Amity, Candor, Dauntless or Erudite) she belongs in. When she takes her test that decides which faction she should go in it comes up inconclusive and she got 3 faction instead of 1, which are Abnegation, Dauntless and Erudite. She is warned to never share this information since is makes her Divergent. When it comes time to choose she decides to leave her family in Abnegation and join Dauntless. When she and the others get to Dauntless she finds out from Four, their instructor, that they have to work hard and that not everyone gets to stay. Tris now has to survive along with her new found friends Christina, Al, and Will to stay in Dauntless.
I love this book because it gives good life lessons such as be brave and don't give up. Another thing I liked was that there was some romance, because I mean, every book needs a little romance right?
I wish there was more background on the charterers and the author could have worded the book better.
I would recommend this book to ages 13-15 and to teens who like action/adventure and romance novels.
